1. Nature of the website and disclaimer
Content on this site is general information about everyday eating and nutrition coaching. It is not medical treatment, clinical dietetic care, or mental-health therapy. For personal health decisions, contact a qualified professional registered in Finland or your country of residence.
2. Consumer protection and contracts
If you are a consumer within the meaning of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki, as amended) and you later purchase paid coaching or other services from us, mandatory consumer rights apply in addition to any individual contract. That includes, where applicable, pre-contractual information, rules on unfair contract terms, and rights relating to distance and off-premises contracts under Finnish law implementing Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights). Any specific fees, cancellation windows, and withdrawal instructions will be given in the offer or contract you receive at the time of purchase.
3. Marketing and communications
We send email marketing only if you have given a separate consent that meets the privacy rules in the Finnish Information Society Code (Tietoyhteiskuntakaari) and the GDPR, or if another legal ground clearly applies. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the site to transmit unlawful content, to attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts, to overload infrastructure, or to harvest personal data of others without a legal basis. We may restrict access, remove harmful content, and cooperate with authorities where required by Finnish law.
5. Intellectual property
Texts, layout, and original graphics on the site are protected by copyright and related rights under the Finnish Copyright Act (Tekijänoikeuslaki) and international treaties. Limited quotation for private or scientific use may be permitted by law; commercial reuse requires our prior written consent. Photographs in the image folder are used under the licence applicable to this project; third parties may not copy them for commercial campaigns without permission.

Links or embedded services (for example map services) are provided for convenience. Their operators process data under their own terms; we are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Finnish law, we are not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, except where mandatory law states otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for gross negligence or intent, where such limitation would be void under Finnish tort law.
8. Dispute resolution
We aim to resolve disputes in good faith through contact first. Consumers residing in Finland may bring a matter before the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, kuluttajariita.fi/en) within the time limits set in that procedure. Use of the Board is not a prerequisite for bringing a case before the competent district court (käräjäoikeus). Consumers may also obtain guidance from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (Kilpailu- ja kuluttajavirasto, kkv.fi/en).
9. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory provisions of EU consumer law that may apply to you. Venue for disputes follows the jurisdiction rules of the Finnish Code of Judicial Procedure (Oikeudenkäymiskaari) and EU instruments where applicable.
10. Healthcare-related advertising (including Google Ads in Finland)
This website is intended to comply with common requirements for non-clinical wellness and nutrition education in paid advertising. We do not promote prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, medical devices, cosmetic surgery, or remote diagnosis. Any paid coaching described on the site is educational support for meal planning and habits, not a regulated healthcare service unless separately licensed and stated in writing. The trader is identified on this site by the Finnish Business ID (Y-tunnus) 3112773-3, address in Oulu, and contact details in the footer.
Advertisers remain responsible for complying with Google’s Healthcare and medicines, Personalised advertising, and other applicable policies, as well as Finnish consumer and marketing law. If an ad disapproval occurs, contact us with the policy name and we will review the landing page text in good faith.
11. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes in services or law. The “Last updated” date indicates the current version. Material changes to consumer terms will be communicated as required by applicable Finnish consumer legislation.
